FREUND Group supplies many products not only to pharmaceutical, food, and chemical manufacturers in Japan but also to manufacturers overseas. Currently, FREUND sells its products to overseas manufacturers through four group companies in addition to exporting mainly to Asia.
Including "FC Center" below, which will join the company in 2021, FREUND will have the following five overseas bases.

FREUND-VECTOR CORPORATION
In 1975, Yasutoyo Fusejima, the president at the time, concluded a distributorship agreement with VECTOR (now FREUND-VECTOR) ※ in the U.S. In 1979, the company licensed out the technology of its products, which marked the beginning of the company's full-scale globalization.
VECTOR became a group company of our company in 1997, and we have developed, manufactured, and sold fluidized bed granulation equipment, high-speed agitation granulation equipment, dry granulation equipment, and coating equipment in technical collaboration with FREUND. Recently, we have also added spray dryers and tablet printers to our product line.
Headquartered in the United States (Iowa), FREUND-VECTOR has a branch office in Milan and local technical staff in Germany, Brazil, and Asia, and is expanding its business globally. Especially, we are actively expanding our business in the major pharmaceutical markets in North America including the U.S., Brazil, Ireland, Turkey, Israel, China, India, Saudi Arabia and Italy.
Due to its long history, the VECTOR brand name is well known in major overseas pharmaceutical companies and plays a major role in introducing our mechanical products to overseas users.

FREUND-TURBO CORPORATION
FREUND-TURBO CORPORATION ※ is an industrial machinery manufacturer, established in 1967. In 2010, the company became a subsidiary.
The company provides dry and wet grinding, classification, dry granulation, and mixing equipment to a wide range of industries including the chemical industry, food, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
In particular, in recent years, we have developed a unique lineup of process equipment for the production of cathode and anode materials for the lithium-ion battery industry, and are expanding our sales network not only in Japan but also in China, Korea, Europe, and other regions.
The company is also actively engaged in joint research and development with universities and other institutions in the area of product R&D.

Parle Freund Machinery Private Limited
The company established Parle Freund in 2018 as a joint venture with Parle Global in India.
India is a growing cluster of pharmaceutical manufacturing plants around the world. As a local knockdown manufacturing plant for dry granulation equipment, the company receives key components from Japan and manufactures and assembles them locally, thereby providing India and its neighboring countries with price-competitive products.
Cos.Mec s.r.l.
We acquired Cos. Mec*, an Italian company, as a subsidiary in 2020. Cos. Mec, established in 1991, is a manufacturer of formulation machinery for the pharmaceutical and food industries, and its product lineup includes the fluidized bed granulation systems and high-speed agitated granulation systems that we and FV manufacture and sell. The company also manufactures and sells process equipment and material handling equipment for transporting and storing raw materials.
The company's strength lies in its ability to provide products for a significant portion of the formulation process, including weighing, granulation, mixing, discharging, packaging, and washing. The company has sales channels not only in Europe, but also in Latin America (Mexico, Colombia, etc.), Asia (Bangladesh, Indonesia, etc.), and Africa (Egypt, Algeria, etc.), and we expect sales synergies with FV in the future.

In 2021, we are preparing to establish a formulation technology laboratory as a joint venture in Shanghai, China.
China, the world's second largest pharmaceutical market, is growing at a rapid pace, and demands for equipment used in manufacturing, raw materials, and the quality of the finished pharmaceutical product are rapidly increasing. In order to meet the growing needs of local pharmaceutical companies, we have signed a joint venture agreement with a local distributor to establish a laboratory in Shanghai to test our machinery, equipment and additives. In this laboratory, we will also conduct research and development on formulation design and formulation using our equipment and excipients.
We will work together with our group companies on a daily basis to ensure that customers in any country around the world can feel confident that they can work with the Freund Group to manufacture high-quality, safe products.
