    Application

    Granutol is a D-mannitol Filler for direct compression developed by applying our technology accumulated with Dilactose (lactose for direct compression).
    Since it is superior to lactose it offers a sense of comfort when taking medicine, and is suitable as a Filler for orally disintegrating tablets and chewable tablets.

FEATURE

    • 100% D-mannitol granules comprised of stable β-form crystals
      There are three types of D-mannitol crystal forms known as α-form, β-form, and δ-form.
      Among them, β-form is said to be the most stable.
    • Useful for tableting drugs that are unstable with moisture and drugs that easily cause Maillard reaction
      Because of 100% D-mannitol granules, this is chemically stable, with almost no free water.
      Therefore, it can also be used for reactive drugs.
    • High formability and fluidity that provide an optimum solution for direct compression
      With high formability and fluidity, it provides an optimum solution as a Filler for direct compression.
    • Suitable as a Filler for orally disintegrating tablets and chewable tablets because it offers a sense of comfort when taking medicine.
      Mannitol, with moderate sweetness and a refreshing sensation, is excellent because it offers a sense of comfort when taking medicine.
      Tablets that disintegrate quickly in the oral cavity can be obtained in combination with an appropriate amount of disintegrants.
      Grade F in particular, which is excellent in formability and disintegrability, provides an optimum solution for orally disintegrating tablets.
